On October 1, 2020 at 4:30pm the Center for the Study of Inequality will welcome Jennifer S. Hirsch and Shamus Khan for an in depth discussion of their recent book, Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus. Sexual Citizens lays out an expansive, empirically-grounded vision for campus sexual assault prevention, drawing heavily on interviews of Columbia and Barnard students to understand why sexual assault is so prevalent on college campuses.

Jennifer Hirsch is a Professor of Sociomedical Sciences at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. Shamus Khan is a Professor of Sociology at Columbia.
