The Cornell Journal of Inequality Studies (CJIS) cordially invites all undergraduates and graduate students to submit their scholarly manuscripts on inequality-related topics.
Promising candidates will produce well-written, innovative manuscripts that address interesting scholarly questions in inequality studies. These works may examine theoretical models, present innovative empirical evidence, discuss political implications, or suggest remedial policies and legal reform. The scholar will demonstrate exceptional command of the subject matter while advancing our understanding of the field.
CJIS is an academic journal devoted to publishing scholarly articles that examine theoretical models, present innovative empirical evidence, discuss political implications, and address remedial policies and legal reform of issues related to inequality. By publishing academic works on a diverse-range of inequality topics, such as (but not limited to) education, health, poverty, and income, with consideration for groups stratified or marginalized based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic class, CJIS seeks to produce a collaboration of the highest quality undergraduate and graduate student articles. CJIS encourages works from a variety of academic disciplines, and will consider manuscripts that do not precisely fulfill the above specifications, so long as they are well-written and reflect CJIS's general scholarly purpose.
